Walker is finished I think. Not the athlete he once was.

Yes, I think you’re right.
He’s 32, so probably not finished as such, but certainly not the player he was.
Lots of off field issues.
Yes, fails the ‘no dickheads’ test.

Barnes and Bowen would be good. Going to be a buyers market this summer I think with likes of Chelsea having to let lots of players go and lots of good players likely in the three relegated teams. Having European football would really help attract very good players to the club and help retain a better squad.

I was thinking the same, with Spurs and Liverpool in flux too, could be a fair few undervalued players around that just need a world class manager to get the best out of them.

Played well enough in the World cup despite minimal preparation.

Would be odd not to take him in the unlikely event he wanted to join us. Newcastle picked up Trippier who was about 31 and he's been brilliant for them.

Can see us going for a few Villareal players. They won 3-2 at Real Madrid last night and likes of Juan Foyth and Chukuweze would be excellent pick ups to improve further the squad in key positions.

Everton too regardless of staying up or not- sure we could nab a back up or two for a song from them.

One Chuk already broke our hearts, not sure if we're ready for another just yet.

Perhaps we should look beyond players who've just got relegated and did well against us.

Bowen would be an ideal upgrade on Bailey, and we should sniff around Firmino if he's leaving Liverpool for sure.

Can't see how Abraham would fit in, the second striker in Emery's systems is an attacking midfielder/wide forward type

Wouldn't be odd at all. Would be a terrible signing and not one I expect us to even consider.

Likely his off-field antics have played a part in his recent ostracism.

Plus he's probably GATG, as VILLA MOLE and PeterWithesShin suggest.

If Firmino ain't good enough for Liverpool he ain't good enough for us.

Indeed. My motto is never sign players from teams involved in relegation unless they are absolute gems like Grealish was with us.

Nah I wouldn't be taking Firmino either
