I suspected links with US players and Chris Heck may have some sway/imput for taking Tyler Adams if we sign the American International

I'm not sure Chris Heck would be known by Adams - he's a businessman rather than a footballing man.
This has been pointed out to him many time but he still insists on pedalling this bollocks.
People see connections in various ways. I perceive an American link that others don't want to see, which is understandable, but we can all allow ourselves to think of our own thoughts without making such unpleasant comments. Even if their beliefs and opinions differ, everyone ultimately supports the same club. In this scenario, it's simply alternative thought and seemed to be informed it's not welcome.
Personally, I think Heck, in helping out the club, as does Purslow, will have a view. And we can't say Purslow wasn't involved with Gerrard's signing. The theory may not be correct, but I like to look at links.

Heck will have nothing to do with players or player recruitment…if you are asking why as a football club we are bringing in a high powered executive who is tasked to improve revenues at the exact time we are appearing to be ready to announce a 3 year shirt sponsorship deal with a filthy scummy gambling company rather than a more ethical brand you might be more in Heck’s wheelhouse of influence.

How many Americans have we signed since Wes Edens helped take over the club. How many Egyptians since Nas?

Nico Williams looks and plays a bit like Tony Daley.

Imagine being a well-respected American business, involved in basketball and probably never previously been interested in 'soccer'. Because of the impressive job he did in improving their commercial side, he gets recruited by an English Premier League team.

First day on the job, Johan Lange, the head of said club's recruitment department hastily arranges a meeting with the businessman. They meet and Lange promptly asks him whether he knows of any good American footballers that he might want to recruit.

The American replies, "isn't that department?" "I'm here for my contacts and experience in building the commerce of a sports franchise."

Lange replies "Oh" and carefully retreats away from the meeting.

Batshit.

The Athletic are saying the medical for Teilemans is underway.

As ever if Unai wants him then we’ll hopefully see Youri of 2/3 years ago

Tielemans happening it appears based on The Athletic tweets a couple of moments ago. One of a few sources I consider remotely reliable.

Let’s wait on Romano at minimum before putting up the bunting

I like Tielemans. Needs to get his head in gear after an awful season, but I think this is a very good move.

What do you think of 23/24 Squad?

Goal Keepers

Martinez/ Raya

Defence
Foyth/Cash
Pau Torres/Konsa
I'm Eric laporte/Mings
Moreno/Digne

Midfield /Attack

Tielmans/Kamara
Guendouzi/Luiz
Lo Celso /Buendia
McGinn/Ward Prowse
Nico Williams/Bailey/Lee Kang Inn
Ramsey/Barnes/Alberto Moleiro
Pedro Goncalves /Coutinho/Summerville

Strikers
Santiago Giménez/Watkins/Archer/Marcus Thuram
One off the list and another 14 to go.
Or more likely 5 or 6.

Tielemans wins FA Cups.  Quality signing. Quality player.

Tielemans 1/4 to join us now, next best Roma 6/1. Kind of similar to the way the price dropped on Emery.

Be interesting to know where Toney’s money is.

Good Spot Percy Mc

A decent analysis of Tieleman's game.

Good foresight putting this up!

Just saw that. On a freebie that’s good business as well
