I think there could be games where Emery completely unleashes Coutinho to devastating effect.

But, it all depends on if Coutinho is up for being a squad player and not the main man.

I think he'll be ok and realistic about it, I don't question his attitude at all. In the 5 subs era, it may be that he can extend his top level career if he adapts to being a kind of 20-30 'finisher' at the end of games, coming on against tired legs with a bit more space to operate in

Horrible rumour on BBC gossip from Football Insider" that we are interested in Harry McGuire - Hope this is complete b****cks

Football Insider, LOL.

Indeed. You can imagine them - 3 x 20 somethings in their bedrooms, who take a break from FifA and Championship manager to spout out this crap

If Emery wants him fine, but Levy can fuck off with his £20 to £25M price. £10M at the most.

If we are to continue playing with a relatively high line, then there is simply no way that Emery is going to want a centre-half with the turning circle of an oil tanker in the side.  No matter how good he is on the ball, or at passing, or bringing the ball out.  No chance.

I think a lot of what they publish is actual trolling.

Not sure this is the place or if its commented on elsewhere but Liverpool signing MacAllister for £35 is a bargain. Quality player.

It is. You can't buy a new Villa top as cheap as that these days.

Interesting for what this means for Brighton's model though - if they are losing their top talents for the kind of money we paid for Buendia then I don't see how sustainable it is long term.  Liverpool could probably flip him tomorrow for double that fee.

Sooner or later they’ll have a bad year of recruitment, not happened yet though.

I am surprised at £35m, seems like there was a release clause. Ouch.

Listening to Leeds fans, we dodged a bullet the size of a house not signing McKennie in January.

Listening to Leeds fans, they'd be gutted if we signed Tyler Adams. He's the one player they have that they actually highly rate.
