I think the Circus around him
wouldn’t be good for what the manager is trying to
achieve .   ha ha listen to me 😃

I typed a similar post and thought I’d look too daft so deleted it.
I’m not sure Emery would want the distraction.

It would be a total circus - no doubt at all.

I don’t know if he’d cut it either in the Premier League given gems in the twilight of his career. However, if Asensio comes, I genuinely think anything could happen.

I remember seeing one of those memes with a stack of dominos all starting with a cabbage being thrown at Steve Bruce. And now, here we are discussing whether Messi would be a welcome addition to our team.

I would not worry your heads too much about Messi coming.

I saw Messi in his pomp playing with Suarez and Neymar. He just walked around the pitch a bit, did nothing and scored two and made two assists. I wondered if he would get away with that in the Prem.

Messi will go to whoever pays him the most. He blarted like a titty babbie when he's beloved Barcelona couldn't afford to pay him what he wanted.

He’s off to Saudi to earn a few squillion on an 8 year contract.

C'mon lads, behave. He's apparently been offered £300m to play in Saudi Arabia. He isn't coming to the Premier League, and he certainly isn't coming to B6.

This is going to sound mad but would he be all that? I get it it’s Messi but he’s deffo on the wane and my worry is he’d be a drag on us like Ronaldo at ManYew.

As he showed in the World Cup all of six months ago, he'd be one of the best players in the league.

But if he came to the Premier League, there's no reason he'd go anywhere other than Man City, obviously.

And he won't go to Man City, he'll have a year in the Middle East, then a year in MLS, then a year in Argentina, then retire on a bed of money.

I don't know whats more ridiculous, the thought of signing Messi or turning my nose up at it.

Whilst one of the best ever, I can't see him being Emery's type?

That isn’t what happened though.
(Granted the crying happened).

He agreed a 50% pay cut, and Barcelona withdrew the offer.

Anyone who thinks there’s a chance of Messi coming = on crack.
Anyone who thinks he’s not up to it = on crack and crystal meth.
