We played some really nice stuff in the first. They had a couple of looks too but we could and should have been further in front. Emery has us playing quite deliberately right now which I suppose to some could be boring. That will improve with players who are better on the ball but for right now, we are doing what he wants. If you want the results without the disciplines and methods then you aren’t appreciating the journey.

Some of us actually live in Birmingham and go to the games.
The football and atmosphere is boring but we are getting results.

What is the point you are making about living in Birmingham and going to games?

I go, am in Brum, and disagree on both points.

I thought the first half was really good, and a very enjoyable watch, right from the first minute.

Some of us moved out of B'ham and now travel a fair distance to watch games.
It's really rather patronising to introduce the "better fan than you" card.

I’ve been to a game with TV, I think it was the 0-0 bore draw with Middlesbrough in the Championship.

Fuck me. That was truly miserable. Only made better by the company and pint we enjoyed.

Maybe some confusion between 'the journey' being the journey towards greatness that the team is making, and 'the journey' being the travelling to the game?

I'm still in shock that there are nine teams threatened with relegation and we are not one of them. Happy days.
