As easy a win as we’ve had for a long time because we have the best coach we’ve had for a long time.
Some very good performances from quite a few including Mings who I thought gave a complete performance at the back. Ramsey getting back to normal and I love his front foot attitude to the game. Bailey is totally shot of any confidence at all but he didn’t hide and neither did Buendia who didn’t have his best game but stuck at it and finished the game well.
It was a game we should’ve won but I don’t think we ever had to get into top gear to win it and that’s the sign of a decent team.

Not to come over all Flinty, but I’m pissed  off about all those empty seats having been online last night and told it was sold out.
If it was the seats above the away fans, you had to phone up for those I believe.
I did see loads of empty seats in the lower Trinity and some in the lower north though

I phoned yesterday morning and the recorded message  said they were closed.

Good performance, I actually thought Bailey did much better than in recent games.

Was disappointed with Konsa's marking and Buendia getting caught in possession numerous times. Hard to pick a MOTM from the rest of the team as they were all brilliant.

Shocking from VAR - the first was a defo penalty, the others not so much.

Cash MOTM for me today, a fraction ahead of McGinn and Luiz. Mings did very well too.

Fair play to Cash, he was shocking last week but very good today.

He was very good against Palace too, so he's getting there knowing what's required under Emery. He should still be first choice right back next season in my opinion.

Absolutely. If Atletico want to offer us £45m then I might change my mind but otherwise it’d be nuts to buy a replacement when he’s often 7/10 and yet to benefit from an Emery ‘pre-season (aka the World Cup break).

I don't get why people are confused about what Traore was doing, did you not see his goal against the baggies? Slotting a pass into the bottom corner is something we've seen him do.

Yes!! I thought the same thing at the time. He hits it early with very little backlift. Takes the keeper by surprise so he can almost pass it into the net.

Not too many players try that. I like it.

McGinn was fantastic today, looks leaner, sharper and better under the new regime.

That's exactly what I thought at the time - but I haven't seen a replay.

From Sky.....

"But Bournemouth reacted well and had a plethora of chances."

Did they?

If it wasn't for Neto, Olly would have had two, really good saves.
At least one penalty should have been given.
Sublime passing at times, and playing across the back line improves every game.
On another day it could have been 6 - also on another day, after not getting the breaks, we may well have lost, very happy to see the heads stay screwed on and the coached game plan doesn't go out the window - Unai really has this team playing much better than I expected.
Looking forward to what quality additions Unai brings in, to improve us further.

Traore just isn’t up to speed yet. He didn’t look as confident as the time when he was just in full flow for that first season. But he will try the most incredible stuff which when it comes off is amazing. And when it doesn’t it can look awful. Bailey is simply running out of time.
