Didn't see much of the game, but it sounds like Bailey was rubbish?

Absolutely abysmal to be honest.

I'm starting to get the impression maybe we might just finish in 11th.

Good solid performance today, just what we needed after the last 3 matches.

Thought SJM was superb today, kept the ball well, rarely did he misplace a pass, and won the penalty, no question getting back to his best. Well done Ollie 5 in a row ain't bad.

Everton fans must be raging with Emi’s goal. He literally turns three players in one movement before shooting past Pickford at the near post. Horrendous goal to give away.

Daft as it sounds, but I think we'd get a good chunk of that back if (hopefully when) we sell him in the summer.

Everton are an awful side in fairness. If they were still there they wouldn't have scored.

Started okay, went to pieces for quite a while, then the penalty changed it all and we looked comfortable after that. The subs made a difference. In fact, Emery generally uses his bench well.

Fair play to Watkins, he's been brilliant in 2023.

I hope we sell Bailey in the summer, though. He's really shite.

Really needed that. Bit rough at times, but hopefully that’ll bring some confidence back.

Playing out from the back is still a bit hit and miss. We seemed to invite Everton on too us  and we go into panic mode.

I think when you see similar performances to Bailey's by players Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal paid three times the price for, you just have to accept thirty million for a dud is a drop in the ocean to the Premier League.

If we could play Everton every week we’d be champions!

Burnley sold Dwight McNeill for about 25m in the end didn't he....

As poor as Bailey has turned out he's at least done stuff in Cl and Bundesliga. Wonder if Ajax are still interested.

Awful game? Missed it as I'm down in Hove viewing properties but just seen the Sky Sports highlights and it looks a bit of a barnstormer. That downward header by Ollie turned onto the post by Pickford was a great piece of play. As for Ollie's arse almost assisting an Everton goal only for Ty's last-ditch clearance, good heavens!
