I was under the illusion that if we had Kamara and Luiz in the centre of midfield, we'd start bossing games.

I think we need another midfielder in there. Buendia would have suited this, maybe..

Douglas Luiz really isn't the answer.

He’s a tidy footballer, no more than that. When was the last time he imposed himself or bossed a game?

I agree Martin, I just don't see it.  He's tidy enough but not imposing or the physical presence that we really need in there.

I think being too dogmatic about refusing to go long makes us easier to play against. We need to mix it up, and get Bailey on the shoulder of the last defender occasionally.

Ahh very nice. The H&V wine club is open again!

Vergelegen GVB 2005 Bordeaux Blend here today. Beautiful, deep, seductive.

Unlike Villa’s performance thus far.

Was hoping for a performance here, but we just don't look very good.

Am leaning towards turning this off at half time :D

We are playing down to their level. The Sean Dyche level. What a shit game this has become.

He seems to manage that in most games, always has and I mean most, not just ours. When one team wants rough and tough, agricultural stylee it draws the other side in.

McGinn was out of position constantly this half and been really poor in his role.
He's getting dragged out of his place. Therefore, inside and other midfielders have to cover him. Captain Clueless.
Now giving away careless fouls.
