Started ok but then got dragged into a battle.  We need to show more quality and try and pass through them
we actually dragged ourselves into it.

Emery will give a half-time masterclass in Spanish, and will sub all of the disruptive elements that can't apply Emery principles of football.

We are being rinsed down our right flank.

You hate to see it. Ashley Young on sooner rather than later.

We've allowed ourselves to be dragged down to their level.

Bit of a ding dong, glad to get to ht level. Their crowd are moaning little bitches but it's getting their team up for it, and putting pressure on the ref especially with Dyche crying about everything.

15 minutes of decent football followed by half an hour of unmitigated shite. All the opposition needs to do to stop us getting over the halfway line is stick a couple of players in between our defence and midfield.

Buendía needs to come on for this stale match.
Lack of creativity and spark, as the team is ineffective despite some nice possession-based football.
Kamara's long ball literally put Watkins in position for a chance-thats it.
Ramsey has understood his role but less said about McGinn who is yet again floundering.
Its no coincidence McNeill has been somewhat effective on the left side and the right of our defence due to McGinn not doing as he's told and leaving far too much space.

I know we're not allowed to talk about the January transfer window and its impact on the season to come, but it's a bit like ignoring the chief reason why we haven't got any tomatoes in Britain and the rest of Europe has.

And those that can't communicate in Euskara

Definitely not a classic. We started first 20 mins or so very well, completely dominant in midfield and I'm surprised Watkins in his form missed that chance after doing the hard part. But it's been shit since. Bailey a complete passenger needs to be hooked asap. Konsa has been a bit gutless for me with and without the ball. Matty Cash getting caught under nearly every single cross field hoof is something you would get abused for at pub league level. We are sleep walking a bit, one good save from Martinez but they muck.

Buendia for Bailey, Young for Cash and a rocket up them at half time please Emery..

If we score an early goal second half I imagine hundreds of red faced whining Evertonians will spontaneously combust.
