I’d get Duran on.

Agree, Bailey has offered nothing.

Has one nil to them written all over it unless Emery sorts us out.

You do really have to wonder why a number of our players aren't very good at football. It's baffling.

Said this to someone after last week's crapshoot, but we have no partnerships in any area. There's no understanding of what one player is intending so another is there to profit from it.

Whenever he gets the ball, he just loses it again almost instantly.

He's really not very good.

Kamara-Luiz have done fine for me. Problem is when they get bypassed you don't have either McGinn or Ramsey tucking in with both stationed out wide so it becomes too easy for teams to run at our backline.

This week it won't cost us so much but against the top 6 it does as last week showed.

He's generous to a fault in both his personal and professional life.

Such a poor game. Our inability to keep the ball, move, pass to another Villa player - are the basics that makes you despair. Without that - we can have the master all tacticians in the dugout.. Useless

On another note: I shudder at the thought that we were after McNeill....

We are actually making him look good today, though.

We are being rinsed down our right flank.

You hate to see it. Ashley Young on sooner rather than later.
Thats down to the clueless captain McGinn not able to get out there as gets dragged inside.
Ill disciplined and hindering!

McGinn looks like he has concrete boots on today but Cash is the sole reason why our right flank is getting rinsed. Can't block a cross. Can't judge the flight of a cross field ball. Happy to play the finger pointing game with Konsa, mind.

He appears to have taken a knock early on after winning a free kick on the edge of the area, which Digne put over. Bailey was hurt, which appears to have taken him off his stride. He's stuck to his position if a little ineffective

Even on the rare occasion that we successfully beat the high press, we are met with more pressure on the next phase. I thought the whole point of this piss farting around is that when you keep possession and break the lines, it’s meant to open up space.

Nearly always seems a better threat, when he comes off the bench.

Can't believe how one footed he is, that was a great chance just before half time which eventually ended with Maupay shooting straight at Emi.

I think one of the major issues is that Emery is training it, and the players do it, but they don't really understand why.

I’d genuinely rather have El Ghazi or Trez than Bailey. He offers so very little, we were absolutely rinsed when we bought him.
