Stan the Wham, if he was playing now, there would be no need to have a poll, imho our best penalty taker, over the last 66 years, also the first full back to score a hat trick in top flight football, it included 2 pens.

Shaun Teale (Wimbledon penalty shoot out in 1993), Allan Evans - can't recall him missing one.

Of the best penalty takers who I expected to score in recent Prem times

He's taken 3 penalties for Villa scored 2.

The official is Darren England.
Now, he has only officiated us once this season, when Villa defeated Brentford 4-0 and awarded us a penalty! Ings took that one.

Overall he had awarded us 5 penalties in 9 games, two in the Championship (Grabban and Adomah)  and three in the Premier League. (Watkins x2 and Ings) all scored!

Watkins is 2 from 2 when Darren England awarding Villa pens.
I think it'll be Watkins taking the perhaps inevitable penalty today as hes always scored whenever this official has been in charge.

Really? He has taken 1 (one) penalty in his professional career, in 2013.

I suppose we can assume it was good because he scored it (for Lille in a 5-0 drubbing of Lorient).

Versus Man City the Referee is Robert Jones.
Unfortunately Villa have never won in the Premier league when he has been in charge. All 4 times have lost. This season it was to Chelsea and Arsenal.

However he has awarded us 2 Penalties from 10 matches.  Never given any against us.

Both penalties awarded in championship both scored. (By Tammy Abraham) suggests when he awards us a penalty we'll score!
They have both times been awarded at Villa Park

He was in charge for the epic 4-2 win over Birmingham!

Today, I am awarded one! Watkins stepped up and slammed it down the middle.
