Skye complimented us on how far Villa were from the bottom 3 now, not seeming to see that, pointswise, we're as close to the top 6.

Whilst waiting for MOTD2 I watched SSN for about 30 minutes. Their coverage was all about Spurs losing than the Villa winning. So far the MOTD2  coverage has been very complimentary and has praised our tactics.

5Live news before the game said "Spurs will go 4th with a win this afternoon against Aston Villa".  Not "Spurs can go 4th" or "Spurs would go 4th".  "Spurs will go 4th".  It was a forgone conclusion as far as they were concerned - the twats.

That goal line clearance by Ashley Young BTW, he has been some player for us twice now. The consummate professional.

Yep, I've watched us turn these cockney ponces over many, many times, but have zero lottery wins. Wind it in you mooks.
But but but, it was “plucky” Villa against the night of a Cockerney team… I despise the media in this country.

Just watching the highlights again. "For Aston Villa, it's the stuff of dreams!"

Erm, no. Last night I had a dream that I won Come Dine With Me. I don't even like Come Dine With Me, but that was still a bigger deal than going 2-0 up against Tottenham.
You've won Aston Villa. Enjoy the 3 points, I hope it makes you happy. Dear Lord what a sad little club, Aston Villa. You ruined my afternoon completely so you could take the 3 points, I hope you use them to get some grace and decorum because you have all the grace of an African Car reverser with no tyres on.

These cockney media types know nothing of ACR.

Also, I don't like to mock anyone for missing a penalty unless they're a complete twat (which I don't think Kane is), but BBC commentary just said "for Harry Kane, the bar is set so high..." Not high enough for one of his penalties though, surely?
I dislike Kane. Good player granted, but a cheating little shithead. The media call it “clever” when he does it. They aren’t so kind when one of our players do the same thing though…

You're right, of course, but that applies to lots of players, sadly.

Ian Brown? He's a Red so presumably was shouting for us today, the Covid-denying, backing-tapes-to-shit singing silly sausage.

It's like the Olympics but with one less ring.

Let’s put it this way, Harry Kane is jealous of our players lifting the Al Wahda Challenge Cup
