As a Claret Member, I can confirm that it was never a pen but would have been up the other end.

No one in this thread would be saying that wasn't a penalty if Dunk had connected with McGinn in that way.

That's the issue with having so few attacking players on the pitch now, our guys are taking 2-3 touches in our own box because it's just Ings on halfway line to hit up to.

Bailey coming on, he is going to be needed in last 20 minutes just for some counter attacks.

We had a penalty cancelled against these a year or so back that was far clearer than that and it was completley incomparable with the pen we got today.

Have no recollection of that at all, was that a lockdown game?

Still trying to work out what penalty we should've got for handball in first half as have no idea on that either.

The Donk is coming on. And Ludwig.

Ok, they may score!

This ref needs to be demoted to League 1. Such a poor display.

Caciedo avoiding a red today is incredible.

Of course with this ref Cash is the one who gets booked from that incident.

Was a foul won by trezeguet but got overturned because the ball brushed the players leg as he clattered straight into Trez.

I would.

De Bruyne got one just last week for hardly any contact, I'm amazed they didn't suggest to ref to go to the monitor given Digne kicked through March to eventually clear the ball.

We got away with one there.

He'd 'cleared' the ball before he made contact.

Ref has been bad and is now gagging to give Brighton a penalty.

It unnerves me that we're inviting them on with this formation.

We've made 9 fouls and got 4 yellows from it. Brighton 12 and barely a talking to.

Cash booked for taking less time to take a throw than March has taken for every single corner they've been given.

Bailey given a yelooow for a oful that wouldn't rank in the top 10 in the game.

Maybe if they got in our box a little more often they might have a chance.
