I can't remember a better villa match of the day section in recent memory - we beat man United and the narrative wasn't that they were shit, it was all about our quality. We have a proven winner as a manager (finally), I'm over the moon lads

And according to Gerrard we lacked quality, brilliant yesterday.

Maybe, just maybe, the media will now see just what a chancing fraud Gerrard is.

Big result yesterday which doesn't suit the media narrative not featuring on MSM paper back page (or the first two inside pages for that matter...)

I think only the cup treble and 6th place finish will make some of them change their mind.

Mind you on MOTD2 yesterday the Grinning Clown made several points about how the formation is more productive

The last win was two months before I attended my first game.

You were almost exactly a year ahead of me, then.

Edit: only just realised how stupidly Irish my (admittedly Irish) dad looks there. Like a 'Ra man in court.

Difference is Rory......I was in my mid-20s :)

I wish that I’d filmed Emi’s antics before the free kick and then his celebration afterwards.
I’m still not sure if he was really helping to line up the two Villa players or engaging in shithousery to put off De Gea. Loved his dance back down the field in front of the Trinity.
I'd say it was definitely shithousery, given that the goal was scored in the righthand corner.

It was superb from start to finish. The movement was sublime, we had players actually running into spaces off the ball!

The moment that best summed up the Emery effect for me was when, late on and defending a two goal lead against a so-called big team, Konsa calmly waltzed forward to provide an out ball for Sanson (I think) and ended up putting the ball into their box and winning a corner.

He must have been told to do stuff like that, he wouldn't just take it upon himself. Emery obviously said that if the space presents itself, use it and trust your teammates to cover for you.

That's what a proper coach does.

Yes, and Kamara just slotted in at the back.

Explain this non -decision PGMOL:

https://twitter.com/AVFC_Aston/status/1589281530240995328?t=kyW73Mnwpm8HFIsVArq-xA&s=08

Video removed, what was it?
I'll gues Martinez giving Bailey an elbow to the ribs and nothing happening from the ref.
So who removed it and why? How is an incident in a football match deemed offensive or racist etc? Very odd.

It's nothing to do with being offensive or racist, it'll be the Premier League not liking clips of their matches being shown for free by unapproved sources.

VAR has just chalked off our 3rd and awarded Man Utd a penalty.

and they were ordered to play the 6 mins extra time after the Villa fans went home and the Man U  fans were kept in. Final result Villa 6 Man U 2. LOL
Yeah I'd forgotten about that. Where did 6 minutes injury time appear from? Talk about giving them their customary leg up from the officials. Well fuck the officials, fuck the sky six and fuck man yoo. It didn't work this time did it you bunch of arseholes.

No worries, see you lot got absolutely robbed on Saturday, the kind of penalty only given to that kind of team when they need a helping hand.

The United-centrics in the football Gobshitiverse are somehow worse when they lose than when they win.

Their fans, who mostly seem to be from Africa on various social media platforms, are ripping into Ten Hag and Ronaldo. It’s a joy to read.

Try not to laugh..

I tried my best not to laugh but flying pig United creased me. Hahaha hahaha
