The Steven Gerrard 'Simply the Best' mug that was a Christmas present last year went in the skip this week.

Sounds more like a "Rangers" mug than a Villa one. Was it a bitter Glaswegian that gave it to you after he left them?

The 'Follow Follow' on the handle was purely a coincidence.

I wish that I’d filmed Emi’s antics before the free kick and then his celebration afterwards.

I’m still not sure if he was really helping to line up the two Villa players or engaging in shithousery to put off De Gea. Loved his dance back down the field in front of the Trinity.

Here you go mate...

These Argies, no sense of fair play.

I'm not one for time-wasting and other shithousery, whether it's us or the opponents, but that is pretty hilarious.

Their fans, who mostly seem to be from Africa on various social media platforms, are ripping into Ten Hag and Ronaldo. It’s a joy to read.

Try not to laugh..

Every single one of them strikes me as a massive ******.

You'd think that, after nine years, they'd be used to being no good by now.

Mings and Ronaldo

https://twitter.com/ravihappy935/status/1589303628225220609

I didn't think that little prick elbowing Bailey was a red card personally, but that lizard & his Texas-sized Adam's Apple definitely deserved one. Since when is grabbing someone by the head and wrestling them to the floor not 'violent conduct'?

I was also puzzled by Ramsey's penalty shout. The ref gave a goal kick, so he didn't think the Man Utd player(s) had touched the ball, but there was clearly contact and yet he didn't book Ramsey for diving.

Not saying I would've given it, but I hate double standards, and you'll see softer penalties awarded multiple times every weekend.

A lot of this thread was about his Tweets.

Every single one of them strikes me as a massive ******.

Like they're watching a war crime. This is meant to be a sport, you glory-hunting fucking twats, the notion that you might lose should not be a surprise.

After the bollocks you gave me, year after year; wearing a Villa scarf to school the day after the latest humiliating 2-3 loss and you, having spent fewer days in Manchester than my ballsack, trying to give it the big'un, pointing and making shit jokes. All because your fucking fictional uncle once worked in Manchester, providing you with a dubious reason to support the most successful club at the time.

Nothing to do with being a small-dicked ****** who wants to end up on the winning side, no matter what, even though it means absolutely nothing.

May you all fucking die, you soulless fucking cuntbags.

I know it's poor form to quote yourself, and I came across as slightly bitter in the above post, so I'd just like to say:

FUCK OFF YOU FUCKING TWATS!!! STICK THAT UP BOOBY FUCKING CHARLTON'S FUCKING ARSE, YOU BUNCH OF FUCKING ******!!!

(Ah, that feels good.)

There are few things funnier than that weird high pitched voice that some Mancs have.

I've just watched the highlights again and noticed Buendia getting out of the way when the ball fell to Ramsey. He knew what was coming. Smart lad.

Lets hope that this is the start of something special under Unai

In the words of Haircut 100 it was a "Fantastic day"
