I recently went on holiday in Spain, Truss was PM, Gerrard was our manager and I had a Villa mug (a gift), where your own name is on the shirt with the current players. My name was there along with Gabby, Dunn, N’Zogbia and Ireland.

I hated that mug. Anyway, I finally threw the mug away just before we left. That week Truss resigned and Gerrard sacked, a new elite manager installed, a new PM (albeit still shit), I come home and we beat Man Utd after 27 years.

Cheers to me for binning that awful mug.

I have a mug similar to that, my name is alongside Ayew, Gestede, Sinclair and Grealish.

Teams turning us around for kick off has backfired a bit lately hasn't it?

Perhaps that's the key to keep winning home games, shoot towards Holte first half and get quick starts from it.

That was just outstanding from the first whistle to the last. Had the pleasure of making the acquaintance of a Marseille fan after the game who was raving about how good Kamara is.
A top Sunday

Mate of mine is a Marseille season ticket holder. He was telling me the other day that Saliba and Kamara are both destined to be world class, and that he rates Kamara as the better player of the two .

Quite bad but not as bad as my line up. Mine has nearly been binned umpteen times but then it kept getting a reprieve due to it being a present.

It did feel good chucking it away.

I've got the same one as PWS, although all the shirts have faded almost completely over the years from being washed in the dishwasher. The Steven Gerrard 'Simply the Best' mug that was a Christmas present last year went in the skip this week.

Just home.  Traffic foul.  Roadworks interminable.  Drivers manic.  Floating on air.  Loved every minute especially Emi shithousing them.  Fucking bliss.

Sensational passing and movement.Dougie and Leon outstanding but what was Konsa doing, playing one-twos,moving forward with the ball, accurate passing,a complete revelation.
What a waste of time the SG era was.

And the mystery of why you supported him for so long is solved!

Loathe as I am to mention anything negative, I was amazed, as I walked up Witton Rd, Brookvale Rd, to see the WMP allow an artic to turn right out of one of the old IMI trading estates toward the ground blocking all the escaping traffic heading away and being a bit of a danger to pedestrians.

Traffic really needs halting to allow all to get away and back to normal faster

Absolutely brilliant get in there Villa have that you Man U twats.

LANGUAGE, DARREN!

Yes.  Language. They are not Man U

They are when we beat the shit out of them!

That's it mate, you've nailed it.

We beat the shit out of them today.

Honestly all over the pitch they had no answer. Every avenue was locked down - except for one, this right-midfield crossfield ball they got going, so what does Unai do? He brings on McGinn to play a deep left midfield thing, and boom they have no time on the right anymore.

Seriously, it might all go wrong, who knows, it's Villa, but what we saw from Emery today was a masterclass. Just so exciting.

I’ve a similar one, I line up with Vlaar and Benteke.
I did enjoy watching your cardboard cut out of Steven going in the skip, still think you should have had a bin fire though.
