The only thing I will be critical of is the decision to start Buendia.

You don’t think Luiz would have been better to replace Onana over Bogarde when we were largely in control and on the front foot.

I do not think he is making great decisions with team selection and substitutes at the moment.
However he seems to be running out of options beyond Buendia, Sancho, Bailey and Bogarde.
Yet Luiz and Lindelof sit on the bench.

No, I understand the point. But would it be better to start badly if that’s the logic? On balance this is the way you have to do it. Then you work on him playing for longer and/or more effective substitutions.
