😂

I sold some copies of H&V for Dave 20 years ago for a few games. He gave me an extra fiver after, I think, Gabby's hattrick against Man City. Probably because I was parading around giving it the hard sell having had a few beers. Rang me a few nights later and we had a good chat. Separated myself from the Barfly up Digbeth to see it through. No idea what we talked about.

Moral of the story. Make the man some money and you're in his good books.

So that's where I'm failing.

Can't argue with that.

Okay, fine. As all the work I've put in thus far is apparently worth nothing!

Dave, I am unemployed and in debt, but as an amateur numismatist, I do have a relatively rare 50p coin worth up to £2.35 (two pounds thirty five pence) on the open market.

In exchange for a little kindness, I could always arrange for it to be sent to you, and you could pocket the cash?

^Ten minutes have elapsed, and even with the offer of money, he won't reply to me.

Guess I'll be crying myself to sleep again tonight.

I've got my favourite teddy - he's called Dave Woodhall.

I was told just 'Dave' might be more appropriate, but that didn't work for me.

I believe Emery is invested the club and the owners, he has control at Villa that he would not get at any other club. My only worry with him is that he is too loyal to his favourite players, Watkins in particular when he should see that he is not doing the player any favours, he needs a rest and a reset. He I believe spotted Rogers so he should be head scout as well. The next few weeks will tell the tale, Chelsea have a hard run home, two of our injured players will be back and the sun will come out again.

The team's slipping at the moment because of injuries. Martinez is still one of the best, Mings isn't first choice anymore, the others are being replaced. It happens at every club and it'll happen here.

I dont think we is all on injuries though dave. We had for example more than enough to beat a hopeless wolves  team.  Our performances  a majority  of the season have not been great. Even at home where we beat wolves, wolves were better than us.

Just dont think the teams that good. I think we have to take a look at ourselves and take some accountability  with our spending.

It's too easy to say it's because of the injuries. Those players were playing at the start of the season in that run where we looked in trouble.

When you look at the 2 squads there is no way we should be losing to Wolves.
It was the wrong team with the wrong tactics and compounded by the wrong substitutions.
I am afraid that is down to the manager.

Tielemans was injured at the start of the season

The players on the pitch on Friday were more than good enough to beat the worst team in the league. That they didn’t is down to them.

It’s a bit of both imv.
