Not worried about Man Utd but I’d be more worried when Man City are looking to replace.
Pep runs it and has the same control as Emery does

Unai is ambitious and might just fancy a go at winning the league and champs league without performing miracles and working in a restricted FFP transfer market being able to buy Semenyo rather than Guessand etc makes it a lot more realistic

Yes, but he's not far off doing something like that with us, a team/culture he has built and would hopefully mean more to him than an easier route?

However, he's likely off to United if the supportive Birmingham Mail is to be believed!

ManC strike me as a club Unai wouldn't enjoy being at.

Every other club looks like that to me.

I reckon Unai is happiest when he's doing something at a club like us, rather than having it all on a platter at PSG or ManC.

I want us to give him a new contract.  Dont think he has signed one for 18 months - so maybe another pay rise and put some more money into his club.

Me too, I think it's what drives him.

I agree with this concern. It's a red herring to say he can't handle 'big' clubs (and let's assume for the purposes of this that Man City is a 'bigger' club than Villa at the moment): he doesn't work as well at basket case clubs, as Arsenal and PSG were. I suspect the overlords at Man City are shrewd enough to see this.

Let’s hope so.

Sky are saying out of the Premier League mangers the favourites are Glasner and Iraola, hopefully that's because Man United reckon they've got no chance of getting Unai.

I think Maresca will join 115C soon to work a season as Guardiola'a understudy and take over at the end of 26/27 season

If he's on the City bench Chelsea might be interested.

If we lose Emery to that scum I'm giving up football

Add me to your list although the club is a complete basket case and unless SUE was afforded the complete control as he has now with us i could not see him wanting to be around the likes of Radcliffe, Wilcox and the Glasiers

PLease let it be Southgate, pretty please

Glasner appears to be the man.

At least it moves the "Villa losing to Glasner" and "Villa losing to ManYoo" issue into one thing rather than two.
You would think manu hierarchy will bear this in mind for a smooth transition and maintaining status quo.

The only person who could sort them out with haste would be Ancelotti.

He is tied up.

Why dont mouths on a tick Neville Scholes Keano and Rio put up. They have a lot to say

They're paid to say stuff, I doubt their employers will be pleased if they take a monastic vow of silence at precisely the point that people are going to be desperate to talk to some former Manchester United employees.

It was a rhetorical questiom. Easier for them to spout different types of shit on the sofa or padded seat
