The squad is good enough to have a tilt at the Europa League and I think that will be our target this season.

That and getting back into the CL.

Winning the Europa League takes care of that.

I think he'll go all out for the Europa league too.

It does, but you can aim to get back in on 2 fronts...I was referring to the Prem

One looks a bit more likely than the other.

We'll have a much better chance to squeak through in the league, because the players we have are really good. I wouldn't like relying on the UEFA Cup because the good players we have don't turn up when it really matters in a single game.

I hope I'm wrong, but that audio of him snapping at the Talksport reporter and also the program notes, I have a feeling that Unai will leave at the end of the season.

For someone so calm and composed, to see him starting to get so frustrated with the PSR stuff, I fear he will end up leaving sooner rather than later. Especially when he said he wasn't here to waste his time.

Like I said hope I'm wrong.

I imagine it will take much, much more to walk away. And where would he go? He's had big jobs and it never seemed to sit well that wasn't allowed time to build them over time. PSG and Arsenal didn't afford him that and they wanted instant gratification. Not many clubs will essentially give him the keys to run things as he wants. The UEFA rules and domestic financial rules will apply wherever he would go.

Feel a bit better after reading that but he would have more room to move at a club with a higher revenue.

But hopefully all irrelevant anyway.

That audio (are there any links) I heard live on  Saturday, and I knew he was irked as he did not start with the polite "good afternoon "  he usually would. I wonder if it was the performance or the general crappy interview questions that made him  react so out of character?

He and many mangers have snapped over the constant shitty questions from the same Journos. Matterface is an awful listen to as well as Patrick Davison. I remember Unai frustrated at the Spanish women working for Sky after the Utd game a year or 2 ago and rightly so. I wish they wouldn't do interviews to the mainstream media and just stuck to the club stuff.

He was well within his rights to chide that journalist. Nobody listening to a post match interview is interested in hearing anything other than how the manager saw the game.

I don’t think we can do both, ie win Europa League and get 4th 5th in the Prem.

Well, maybe not, but winning the Europa would give us Chumps League qualification.
