It was tactically all wrong and yet astonishingly Emery saw no reason to change anything at halftime. He waited until we were 2-0 down.

Yep, Palace just set up in their mid block and waited for our mistakes, which were plentiful. It was so obvious what was happening and we did pretty much nothing to counter it.

Didn’t we beat them in our now somewhat flat as a pancake Cup run.

The other two games were utter twattings though.

I'll take 4 wins and 2 twattings over our record of 2 wins in 23 against them before Unai.

The second we lost at Stockport we lost today.
Let's face facts, he doesn't give a tinkers cuss for the FA Cup and only dld this season because it was a route into Europe when we struggling to achieve it through the league.
We'll get into Europe now, I love Emery but the scars of today will only be healed by a trophy win and for the first time, I doubt it will happen.

I couldn't disagree more. He's a serial winner, I think he'd have loved to have won the FA Cup for us, and today will have stung a lot.

Huh? We were rubbish today, but I don’t doubt for a second he was trying to win the game.

Exactly, and I very much doubt he's unaware of what it, in particular, means to us.

He’s built a reputation on winning cups. It wasn’t because he didn’t care enough. It was because he, and his team, weren’t good enough.

My point was he set up weird down there last season and we got away with the 1st half and somehow came in level. He changed it at half time and we won in the end, but then at home he changed us to match up to them and they gubbed us. Made a weird change down there this season and a strong position turned into a horror show.

It struck me a bit a bit odd and now we have him over thinking Crystal fucking Palace.
