Also , and i would champion Dean Smith thread be reinstated to main user board, when Emery is no longer manager he must remain accessible to all on main board and not banished like we seem to do far too much.

There should be some sort of guidelines and rules for this in my view.

Actually the most Villa thing EVER to do now, would be to write the above.

I do think have to actually recognise the thread is regards Unai Emery and that it is not Emery but the players who would fail so it wouldn’t be an Emery thing that’s for sure the man’s elite level coach.

It’s a mindset I know many have and I had this issue on here with the champions league thread that i created last season. Too many doubts . That’s understandable in many ways and was explained by people who didn’t believe , didn’t want to dream or just plain doubted

The important thing to me is no doubt about Emery. It’s the players tonight.
Thing with Mister Emery is the focus he has and the demands he has with the players to be focused on winning tonight.
And getting positive results against every rival Villa face in the battle for champions league place is very clear message.

So yes very exciting and I have every faith in the manager it’s up to the players to perform and follow instructions - do that and Emery will give us a glorious finish to the season .

Furthermore this talk of being a Villa thing is on the players who get selected in games like tonight which is must win
And quite frankly anyone who lets us down or fails to show up may have to be considered to leave in summer as this now is the time and it will show who is capable and who isn’t.

we all want the positive results but all have own ways of thinking about what could happens no offence and get the idea that it’s typical Villa but I don’t look at our club like that under Emery.

I have a theory that Emery's success in cup competitions is down to the fact that his teams play quite conservatively and are therefore relatively fresh at the sharp end of the season.

Football at the highest level is played strategically. I don’t call it conservatism.
