I desperately want to see the usual Aston Villa under Emery turn up against Liverpool. If ever one of those masterclass type away performances was due it's this weekend.

Without that clown ming's balls up we get the nil nil and a good away point there.
you go to these places in the europe and have to suffer for long periods...even madrid do!
Kamera being back and having 3 games under his belt will surely bolster the defence. But Unai must stop the bleeding on Saturday

You are right. I couldnt see brugges scoring if it wasnt for minga idiotic error

It's Mings....not Minga or Mongs as you called him yesterday in the pre match thread.

Unfortunately, the usual Aston Villa against Liverpool under Emery isn't great at all. 10 goals conceded in 4 games, including 3 in both games last season. Hard to see that changing this weekend.

Maybe the players after 2 years are fed up and tired of the long meetings that Unai has them attending, and they think it is unfair that other clubs only do an hour's training a day.

Yes, I’m sure they’re fed up of the managers methods making them have to play Champions League football.

For me he has a lot of credit as much as that doesn't mean he is beyond criticism. Just out of curiosity - what was the criticism of him at Arsenal and PSG? If anyone knows.

Now that we have virtually a full strength squad to choose from, has that become a weakness because we now have to rotate a lot more to keep the players happy and therefore we never have a settled side?

Nobody will be more frustrated at our current form than Unai. I have total confidence in his ability to turn this around, although things may get worse before they get better.

We have a world class coach. He’ll sort the issues.

Be nice if he got on with sorting the defence then, because it's been shit for ages.
