I'd agree with that to a point. I don't think he'll leave this year if we don't qualify for CL. But we will have to get there next season, if not this season, or he probably will start to look at other offers.
If Real Madrid decide that Emery is the manager that they want to replace Ancellotti next summer, or if Barcelona come calling then he will be gone.I would be surprised if he left us part way through a season to manage United.
He has jumped clubs for 'better' jobs before. I seem to remember something happening around this time last year, for example. It's not the work of Satan to suggest he might do so again when the chance arises.
