If we beat Wolves we'll have more points after 8 games than we managed in all of the 2015/16 season.

Hard to fathom Gerrard was in charge this time last year. It somehow feels like such a long, long time ago.

This time last year we had another 3 weeks and 4 games of him to go. PL4 W0 D2 L2 F1 A6.

That is triggering my "Gerrard PTSD", so we will have less of that please... 😉

There's always a response to a setback. Granted bad cup games aren't always a bearing on the league (nor the flipside I guess). He's just brilliant.

That 2023 record is incredible. I keep waiting for the inevitable Villa implosion but it's not happening. All I really want now is for him to figure out the cups conundrum because Stevenage, Everton and Legia have been way, way off what we're doing so well in the league.

It's a player mentality thing but I really hope we can shake it off and be really on it in the conference league from here on in.

In Unai we trust. I knew he'd be good, but this good? It's almost unfathomable.

Emery has turned us around into a team we couldn’t have dreamt of having 12 months ago. Watching him orchestrating the team today was a joy to watch. He won’t get the praise he deserves from the London press but that fine by me. What a coach!!!!!!

He's just great. I was demanding of more goals really but 6 will do.

In his post-match interviews he mentioned how we used the medium block . Like...what even is that?

If it results in a 6-1 win, he can medium block to his hearts content 😁👍

It’s inbetween a high block and a low block.  ;D

He's also a wholesome gentleman, compare him to the absolute thundercunts like Klopp and Guardiola when they lose.

I'm gonna guess it is between high and low.

He really is a class act, less than a year in and look at us. If he stays with us for a few years and we continue to improve then this really could turn into something very special.
