Yeah.

Deano was the same when he took over.

"What is your aim for this season?"

"Promotion!"

What a manager we have. It's a great time to be a Villa fan.

The players are doing 12 hr shifts from 7am to 7pm at Bodymoor?!

At last they finally have something in common with all the Blose supporters working at Rover all them years that made them miss matches at the Sty/Trillion Trophy Stadium.

I think he means Unai and the staff….that’s what he says right at the start of that.

The players doing 12 hour days??????
Unai can do miracles but bloody hell, not the impossible 😂

I'm sure I've read before that Emery has slept over at Bodymoor before now and has a room set-up so that he can when he wants to.

He has told the club he wants a suite built so the players can sleep over.

Can’t they sleep in their car at work, or in boring meetings, like the rest of us have to?

When the new champions league format comes into play will be looking for that as its 5 places in England. I 100% think this is the target , progress and aim for owners and Emery
We are on course for this with the projection

I think the 5th place is just given to one of the big clubs who missed out not the team who finishes 5th. It’s coefficients you see.

I think there was some confusion when the changes were annonuced because it's worded as the highest ranked team and some people took that to mean in terms on coefficients instead of ranking in the table.

No, it was going to be based on a club’s coefficient, but they changed it, thankfully.

I still worry about the high line, it doesn't seem that difficult to plan to counter it.  I think Emi will be facing plenty of one on ones this season.

You would think for a high line to work, there needs to be pressure on the player on the ball but we seem to stand off and organise into our shape.
