 He was born in 1932 and it says 1972 in the corner of the pic, and pretty sure that's Norwich players, although I have no idea who any of them are. So depending when in the year it was taken he was 39 or 40.

Older than that?  He was 42 when he took over in 1974 that picture is around then I think maybe ‘75 Charlie is still playing for us so must be no later than 1976.

He looks like he got younger. Most Villa managers age years in a matter of months. Emery got younger, faster and fitter. I fucking love him.
