Yeah all the players fault though according to Me's Meeja mates. Well it was until about 6 weeks ago.

The night is darkest before the dawn... we endured the nightmare of Gerrard and now we are truly blessed to have Emery. What he's done with this team defies belief. I hope he stays for a long long time.

First 11 games, 9 points, 6 goals.

Last 16 games, 32 points, scored in every game.

It never was the players weren't good enough, it was the twat 'coaching' them that wasn't good enough.

In our last six games, we've won five and drawn one. I can't remember the last time we were in that sort of form in the top flight.

Scoring every game, winning in the third strip, dominating the month of March and now beating 10 men. He can walk on water

Arsenal, Manchester City, Aston Villa.

The 3 sides in the division that no one wants to see as an upcoming fixture.

No words can describe adequately what this man has done in just 6 months - I'm in love!

Slight Devils advocate. It seems Emery can coach better then many in the world, not just the DJ-puncher. The interview the other day where the Watkins mentioned Emery coached him how to turn his body so he can make runs in and not be called offside is a massive reason for Ollies form at the moment. You can see the improvements as the season has gone on.

However Title-losing-Slip's plan did seem to be to tell the player to work hard, run aimlessly and at the end of the day, look him in the eye.

It's almost as if proper coaching and tactical awareness can improve individuals and the team as a whole.
We haven't had either for fuck knows how long, and whilst Emery is not infallible, he and his backroom staff are very very good, and i think he 'gets' the club. This could be fun.

As an aside, the added bonus is how it's killing all our neighbours.

small heath have gone from match threads all about us when we were shit, to their thread for tonight's games not mentioning us a single time.

And our yam yam friends, it was all "mind the gap" and "levels" for a short period not too long ago, now they are celebrating us winning as it may help them avoid relegation. Mind the gap, twats.
