I don't want to sell Martinez but I will feel a lot better about it if that's what Emery wants. I really do have a lot of belief in our manager.

Keep the manager. Ditch the Goalkeeper.

Not sure he should me making these sort of comments in the press.  Gerrard rightly got panned for throwing players under the nearest bus.  Don't want to see Emery naming and shaming players as well

I really like Unai and am delighted he's our manager, but calling out Martinez in public is piss poor.

I would have preferred him to say Emi is passionate about the club and wanted to help us get something from the game.

One interpretation is that he's noticed Emi being a Billy Big Bollocks since the World Cup, and that he thinks he needs bringing down to Earth.

Another is that it's shite, Gerrardesque management of a vital player.

I have no idea.

I think he's pissed off about how things ended and has then had to do an interview not long after. He'll probably regret it and end up apologising to Emi about doing it so publicly.

I’m not running out of patience - that’d be fucking ridiculous. He needs to improve, but fucking hell he’s only been in since November.

Needs to improve quickly as well.  Eight points clear of the bottom 3 and hemorrhaging goals at the moment.  Everton coming up next.  Absolutely must win game

Unai saying he was embarrassed by Emi on the fourth goal is likely nothing more than Unai chosing the wrong word in his non-native tongue. It is something I imagine will be corrected in Spanish in private.

I have no idea.

I would go for the first proposition.

I have many ideas, but am short of cash and drugz at the moment. This might change when my boat comes in. Currently stranded in the Bering Sea.

We are closer to the European places at the moment. We'll be fine.

As Unai noted, statistics show that goalkeepers rarely score.
People being let down by Emery, who values teamwork over individualism, is incredibly annoying.

He called him out correctly. I'm not going to talk about it any longer since the folks that are here do not want to recognise or comprehend the ethos of Emery.
Martinez is at fault. I saw this coming with Martinez and its laughable to put any criticism of Emery now.
I'm taking a break!

Go well, Footy. And don't let up on the scouting!
