When he tries to say 'evening' it doesn't sound exactly like it does when we say it, because he's bleedin' forrin! Honestly, it's hilarious.

As mentioned above, thoroughly recommend a look at Molineux Mix tonight, it's very funny. In full meltdown.

And also, some deluded twats on there. Check this one out.

Ok in all seriousness; our players are (usually) way better than those of Villareal or Villa. We have consistently finished higher than Villa for years apart from Covid season.

Why the **** are those clubs getting Emery, linked with Gallardo, and we are consigning ourselves to Steve ******* Davis for 3 months??!.

From BBC Sport

"Guillem Balague

Spanish football journalist on on 5 Live's Monday Night Club

Villa fans should be very, very excited. You are talking about one of the best managers in the world. You have to say that. He has tested himself in different leagues, in Russia, France, England and Spain. He has never made a team worse, put it that way.

When Unai was at Arsenal, he equalled the kind of stats that Arsene Wenger had before. He started really well and then everyone will have their own opinions but I think Unai wasn't probably backed with the decisions he had to make at Arsenal but he prepared the next manager for what had to be done. Literally as well, I think Unai offered Arteta his house!

But he realised there was unfinished business in the Premier League and he did say no when Newcastle approached him but there was a personal issue with that. He wanted to be closer to his son after being a way from him for a while and it didn't feel right to leave Villarreal at that point. Now it is a different story. He has taken Villareal possibly to the top that they can be, winning a Europa League as well and the lure of the Premier League continues."

Indeed I wonder how Lineaker’s pronunciation was when he was in Spain.

"We have consistently finished higher than Villa for years"

Google translate from yam yam into English
"We have finished above Villa 4 times in the last 47 years"

They won't have it, despite the evidence staring them in the face

An exciting appointment and proof of the owner’s ambition IMO. Now let’s give him the time and have the patience to allow him to build us into a permanent top 8 club

Wolves fans on Molineux Mix lamenting why they didn’t get him when they are obviously much bigger.

Or as another put it (they're not happy on there tonight).

First time I’ve been jealous of a rival’s appointment.

Track record of longevity and success pretty much everywhere he’s been, along with experience in the Premier League. And annoyingly, a thoroughly nice and decent person to go with it (always enjoy it a bit more when our rivals have some arrogant arsehole who is a bit easier to hate).

Good job we are too busy looking down our noses to consider them rivals then.

Actually pretty good. But considering he has several posts only a few hours ago where he picked up an International Media award in Barcelona, speaks Spanish at the event AND claims it is like a second home, he really lowered himself with that tweet.
