The big thing for me is that for the first time in a very long this feels like it's sustainable with the manager rather than just a good run that will soon end.

15 games 29 points, scored in all 15, constant tactical changes, 1 goal conceded in 5. And it feels like just the beginning.

I'm beginning to think that maybe we should let this guy stay on after the summer. He seems pretty good.

Since Unai Emery’s first game in charge of Aston Villa on 6 November, only Arsenal (13) and Manchester City (10) have more Premier League wins than Villa (9).

It's just so refreshing to have a manager who can spot when a tactical change is needed and isn't afraid to make the change early.  We haven't had that for a long time.  Even Deano didn't have that ability.

It's excellent.  And we know that he will be backed in the summer.  A strong finish can't help our chances of getting players in from seemingly higher clubs.

I judt love him and he seems like he really wants to be a part of the Villa family.

It would be great for him to feel truly at home here and be here for many years. I believe in him and I think he is the man.

Our current squad is actually quite small and he's doing so well with what he has to use. No idea what he's like in the transfer market but he's got to be better than what we've had over recent years.

Since the Arsenal game we've conceded 1 in 5 games, and that was NEVER a penalty.

It feels like with an amazing and pragmatic manager, and very good and pragmatic owners - this could be a really, really exciting time.

So impressed with him - it’s like chalk and cheese compared with the last guy.

Nice to see the camera cut to Naseef smiling in the directors box towards the end. He must be thrilled with Unai.

This club deserves a coach like Emery. He’s top class and I think he’s the one to bring us the silverware we’ve been craving for.

No Premier League team has more points away from home than Aston Villa since Unai Emery took charge of the club:

✅ 1-2 vs Brighton
✅ 0-2 vs Spurs
✅ 0-1 vs Southampton
❌ 3-1 vs Man City
✅ 0-2 vs Everton
🤝 1-1 vs West Ham
✅ 0-2 vs Chelsea

And you know the tactics will evolve as other teams try and work them out. We have a diamond in Unai.

Was delighted when we got him, but no way did I think he’d get us results this good this quickly.
