We'll get lots more practice of semi finals under Emery.

I'd rather not have practice next time, I want it to be real!  ;)

It’s the hope that kills ya. And this bastard’s given me hope. By making the team good. The bastard.

Well he has had 2 and completely fucked them up - just saying and from a position from feeling he is the best we have ever had so far (tactically at least)

I hope he cans this slow, walking "control" football next season. It isn't even real control, because every time a team spooks us we end up losing control anyway.

When we break the press (hate these modern terms that seem to have been invented for pundits to talk about) and move forward at pace we are devastating - watching our game sometimes is all the boring bits of watching a Fraudiola team.

I know you cannot go gung ho for 90 mins as the players would be knackered - but keep playing how we are at a snails pace and the fans will not be able to keep up as they will frustrated or asleep

We played at a much higher tempo v Newcastle and destroyed them. We simply had to go similar v Citeh but we were cautious. I thought we would run all over them in that second half. That kind of no show kind of leaked into the Palace game.

Anyway onto Fulham, Emery generally turns things around quickly.

There is a lot of mitigation with the Olympiakos one when you look at all the injuries we had then and prem games between.

We were literally limping to the line 12 months ago with Donk and Chambers as the backup CMs.

Not so much excuse this time though with our general form and fully fit squad bar Rashford.

Along with a scandalous refereeing performance at Villa Park.

 ;D ;D ;D ;D

You're not wrong! We'd just lost 4 in a row then after being dark-horses for the league!

Plus, our downturn in optimism has also included a disappointing trip to Paris.

This has triggered a memory. I was staying round my aunt's (thoroughly unlikeable woman) house when Diana died, and the day after she had managed to get a life-size cut out of her and taped it up on to her conservatory. I was really baffled. She wasn't tech savvy so wasn't jumping on whatever the Internet was back then to print it out. I still don't understand.

Since Sky invented football our longest unbeaten home league run is 17, we've done it twice, both times under Unai.
