I can picture the flow of the game already, a jittery home team and crowd gradually find their feet, and voice, as they find they can operate in two thirds of the pitch under absolutely no pressure whatsoever. Meanwhile, when we do win the ball back the forwards are isolated and give posession back straight away, creating successive sustained periods of pressure until eventually they score.

Whenever there's an opportuniuty to watch the Villa on TV, I take it, because I just can't get to every game.

Monday is 5-a-side night and I'd normally ditch it to watch the Villa. This Monday I'll be playing; I just don't see it being pretty at all.
