How is playing or watching football disrespectful?
I think most respect the Queens memory but want to do so with a stiff upper lip and by getting on with life.

Just a bit of context, games were cancelled in 1901 and 1952 for the death off the monarch (Edward had the good grace to pop off post season 1910).
