Feel for those who will have travelled from abroad and long distances in the United Kingdom to watch their team and the loss of money etc

I had thought about booking to go over for the Southampton game given the atmosphere on a Friday night would have been decent. Glad I didn't now but feel sorry for Bertie Bassett.

Not just football, my kids Netball and Tennis also cancelled.

I don’t think it will be the only death this weekend.

I reckon the Queen (may she Rest in Peace) would have been horrified if she knew sport was going to be postponed on her account. Daft decision.

When I pass away, you have my permission not to close down H&V for a week or two.  :D

I don't think I will ever not do a double take when I see his name.

Is he a better singer than he was a footballer?

I'll bet he's a better singer than he is a pundit

I'm in the minority but I think it's absolutely the right decision. It's called respect.

Plenty of events called off every year for lots of fairly shit reasons eg bit of snow.
This is the death of our Queen, after reigning for seventy years.

Do you not think tens of thousands of people around the country singing GTSQ one last time would be a better tribute?
