I see Grealish is available, I can hear the Holte End singing "I'm Villa till I die".

Oh good, no doubt he'll get 5 minutes when they're 5-0 up, and he'll walk round the place at the end like he owns it. It's times like today when I question how much money I spend on the sodding Villa.

My Sky Super 6 prediction is 0-3, always the optimist :)

I've gone for 1-5, as City are prone to give away a daft goal from time to time.

My brother had a decent bet on us losing 6-0 at home in our first season back up, he was fucking livid at the late penalty we got.

It's football so anything can happen. MDC Jnr is looking forward to seeing Haaland up close as he's convinced he's an alien or been built in a lab. He hasn't asked for a Villa kit this season - this worries me as much as our shi* 2022 so I'm hoping for something to cheer about.

I’m not going to watch today. In my opinion, it’s going to be too painful.

Instead, I’m off to a Soft Play with the kids.

Painful is the word. It has been painful since the beginning of the season. I might have a rest today and not watch..

I've had a pound on 0-10 at 200/1.

Been thinking all week that this could be a very humiliating defeat, however this morning I’m feeling a lot more optimistic for some reason. I’ll be there later cheering them on what ever the result. No doubt it’s going to be a tough game but I think it may be tighter than I’d previously thought.

Really heavy traffic as far back as Southampton, just to add my impending doom about today's game.

I've changed my vote. I've never yet gone into a game having picked us to lose and I've decided I'm not going to start now. Come on you Villa boys, prove us all wrong, despite everything . I'm backing Mings for the winner from a corner, then I want him to flick Gerrard the V's like Tony Morley did to Sir Ron  after he scored at Everton.

From the Plastic Moon forum ......how's this for irony? Anyone remember how many Plastics were already queuing for the Wembley Park tube  immediately the final whistle went in the CocaCola cup? They honestly think we should have stayed to applaud them.....wankers.

"........Villa are a club who I don’t think about for 36 games of the season and then remember I hate the ****** whenever we play them.

Fans are shithouses.

Giving it the biggun with their balloons last day of the season and then all evacuated in record time when we scored the 3rd.

Only side we’ve won the league playing against who’s fans haven’t stayed in their majority to watch us lift the trophy ........."

Not sold out today. When was the last time that happened since promotion?
This must register with the owners, given the plans to increase the capacity.

Normally with a game like this you expect to lose and think that anything we get is a bonus. Toady it’s almost anything better then 0-4 is a bonus.

I’ll be glad when it’s over and we don’t have to see their bunch of smug, entitled fans for another year.

Leaving might have had something to do with being pelted with missiles for ninety minutes.
