From the Plastic Moon forum ......how's this for irony? Anyone remember how many Plastics were already queuing for the Wembley Park tube  immediately the final whistle went in the CocaCola cup? They honestly think we should have stayed to applaud them.....wankers.

"........Villa are a club who I don’t think about for 36 games of the season and then remember I hate the ****** whenever we play them.

Fans are shithouses.

Giving it the biggun with their balloons last day of the season and then all evacuated in record time when we scored the 3rd.

Only side we’ve won the league playing against who’s fans haven’t stayed in their majority to watch us lift the trophy ........."

Especially when in the Tube queue they were singing charming ditties like ‘You’ve seen the champions, now f**k off home.’ Tossers.

Not sold out today. When was the last time that happened since promotion?
This must register with the owners, given the plans to increase the capacity.

The last time we played Man City at home.

It's a strange feeling today, one that I have never ever experienced before. For the past 40 years or so I have gone to Villa park mostly hoping for a win, knowing we could lose but never ever absolutely certain that we will lose the match. Not even in that horrific 15/16 season I thought, before a game, that we will not get anything from it but football or competitive nature of football in this country has been so totally fucked up by these filthy ****** that the last bastion of shelter that us fans had, the ambition of HOPE, has been destroyed. This will kill the game.

I'd rather than club not bother playing these.  Twice a season, take a default 3-0 defeat.

There's nothing remotely special about what they do. It's the most boring fixture of the season and there's nothing to get excited about. Their own fans feel the same way.The football they play is tedious, I'm not interested in death by a thousand passes. I'm not interested in a quarter of a billion pound full backs or half a billion pound defence or whatever new trinket the sportswashing insidious machine has bought this summer.

I wish the majority of the league would do the same. Just no fucking interest in playing them. They'll win the league anyway, so why bother.

Fuck off to your European wet dream, you boring, twats.

I genuinely think this could be a 6 or 7 today.

Anything less than that is a bonus.

I didn't stop to watch Grealish lift the trophy , but when Coutinho put us 2-0 up dozens of them streamed out . We all know what happened next , which meant all the bellends that had left early trying to get back in the ground at full time and getting pelters off Villa fans outside for leaving early. I told two city fans to enjoy Countryfile , cue a random Villa fan to come  over to me and tell me he loves watching Countryfile !

I think it might well be too, we are so disorganised.  Doesn't mean I'm wishing for it and won't be supporting the team, but I genuinely fear that could be the outcome.  A few early goals and VP will be toxic for Stevie G, cuing all his media mates to say how nasty we are.

I don’t think my language would be clean enough for the family zone! I also don’t want it to be the cricket score above, but as Duncan says: we’re so disorganised. Man City are beyond ruthless…

I would love nothing more than us to give Man City a game as we have done in the last couple of seasons, but I have seen very little in the first few games of this season to suggest that we’ll be able to stem the tidal wave of Man City aggression on the ball.

And I bloody wish we’d signed Julian Alvarez too when we had the chance to.

Everton looking much improved. Very competitive against one of the best teams in the world. Over to you Gerrard.
