                  Martinez

Cash Chambers Mings Digne

            Kamara

Luiz.                 McGinn

Buendia. Watkins.   Ramsey

That's my guess. Archer will come on in the 80th minute. Bailey on 65. Konsa on 20 when Mings is sick.

Hopefully Mings will have looked him in the eye to confirm this won’t happen

Didn't Potter turn down Spurs last season? I don't think he'd come to us even if Gerrard is sacked.

You never know, being a Villa fan and all...or is that bollox?

No he's Villa but not in a total Dean Smith or die hard way.
He said in an interview before a Villa match a few seasons ago

"I was one of the strange ones in that I wasn’t so passionate about supporting a team.
The first team I started to get interested in was the Aston Villa team that won the European Cup.
This is how times have changed.
The European Cup winners brought the cup to my dad’s working men’s club.
There’s a photo at home of my brother in the European Cup.
I think it was Ken McNaught and Peter Withe who came to the Shirley British Legion.
I don’t think you’d get that today, would you?
So I was interested in Aston Villa then – Gary Shaw, Tony Morley.

Then, as I got older, I started to play for Birmingham City.
I started to play for their centre of excellence and I ended up having an affinity for them.
Most supporters will tell you, ‘Hold on, you can’t be Aston Villa AND Birmingham! You have got to be one or the other!’. But I think I pretty much was.
Most of my friends are Villa fans so they aren’t my friends this weekend. They are begging me for tickets"

"Kamara/McGinn/Ramsey is too physical for us"

Ummmmmmmmm

They're cutting their cocaine with something strange in the wine bars of North London.

Sort of glad that I won't be able to watch this one due to being at a recording of Radio 4's "Mark Steel's In Town" in Newport.

It could be bad....and Saturday will probably be worse

Arsenal look very good, but in my view their approach to playing out from the back is vulnerable. With a high intensity press I think they could be brittle. Clearly our lethargic and listless approach is the exact opposite of that, so no chance for us. But we live in hope.

Mark Steel is great, that looks about a million times more appealing than watching us.

A bit of patience and it'll be Steven Gerrard's In Town. Ipswich Town.

I met him at a wedding the other week. He's cool, as is his other half, the resplendent Shappi Khorsandi.

We will get our pants pulled down.

I'm not planning on wearing any just so as to avoid this result.

I didn't realise they were couple, but I've got a bit of a thing for her too. I saw him years ago doing a warm up gig for his tour, it lasted about three hours and was great the whole way through. It was more like going for a few pints with a funny mate, he properly engaged the whole crowd.
