Any points out of Arsenal and Citeh will be an unexpected bonus. We’re not even close in being able to go toe to toe with them as we did in the narrow defeats last season. If we concede early in either game then they could both be very embarrassing scorelines.

Only saw us at Arsenal once. O'Leary was our manager and we didn't like him much and he liked us about the same.

Expectations were low and swiftly realised as they battered us 5-0.

"You can have O'Leary back" was the chant that I'll not forget from the Villa fans that day.

This has the makings of a similar kind of night for us.

I saw us lose 5-0 at Highbury on about 1991. David Platt ended up in goal.
90/91 season under Venglos. Almost 12 months to the day after Chris Price's late winner there convinced me we were going to win the league and had me dancing round the clock end.

Could be the night when Gerrard suddenly becomes the Villa manager that we all want

However it will probably be a 3-1 defeat

Lacklustre display from players who know writing is on the wall so an easy 5-0 win for Arsenal who will show no mercy. SG sacked on Thursday, Gary Mc in charge for Sat where we put up a bit of a fight but lose by two. The new manager sitting in stands by time of Leicester game. Either Poch or Potter.

Didn't Potter turn down Spurs last season? I don't think he'd come to us even if Gerrard is sacked.

Give Sanson a start

He's been ghosted by Gerrard and according to Percy, none of the players understand it.

I don't think he'd leave at this point, he's secure and I don't think he's the type to drop them in the shit like that. Any chance of getting him would have to be in the close season.

Where do you even start? Well I guess who are the crazy 10 that think we will actually win this!
We Live in hope that Gerrard will change the formation to make us more solid in Midfield, but hes had ample opportunities to do this and plays the same formation.

The best i can dream for is that Arsenal Hit the bar and post numerous times and we get a draw.

The reality is...Get Martinelli in your Fantasy Football team and Captain Jesus.

                  Martinez

Cash Chambers Mings Digne

            Kamara

Luiz.                 McGinn

Buendia. Watkins.   Ramsey

That's my guess. Archer will come on in the 80th minute. Bailey on 65. Konsa on 20 when Mings is sick.
