I think we actually drew them in the third round of the FA Cup in 2000 as well but they couldn't play because of the World Club Cup thingy. Can anyone verify this?

I remember the Leicester semi final at VP quite vividly, sad to say. Tim Flowers conducting the Holte singing "boring, boring, Leicester" is one of several dismal recollections.

Years later, I am sure I sat in the Lower Witton Lane for a cup game against Sheffield United, then managed by Nigel Clough. That was ghastly.

You saw what happened yesterday against Bolton, we’d sell out at whatever maximum level we’d be entitled to. I don’t care if it’s £50 a ticket, take the fucking allocation. I know at least 5 people who are only members who’d go to this if they could.

It’s quite a bit of an anomaly, don’t you think? Is there any other like in the same round of a cup? Considering we get the whole “they (insert name) haven’t beaten (insert name) in 50 years” when the two insert name teams have only played each other once in that period, this anomaly just seems to pass people by.
