I sussed Gerrard early on. But even I thought we would be too much for Bournemouth.
Today was the full unveiling of the emperor’s new clothes in all it’s naked glory.

Nope, you’ve never liked Gerrard, so you come on here and slate him whenever we lose, then go quiet when we do well. Anyone can do that and is very different to having the nous to ‘suss’ any football manager out.
Don’t like or dislike Gerrard.  Do you really think he is going to
take us forward.  If so based on what?

1981. 1982. 1994. 1996.

Of course. And we were nowhere that night in Istanbul so I guess we ought to be grateful to have him!

Just cannot see what he is trying to do on the pitch.  Neither do the players.

He talks a good game and there were definite signs of improvement once upon a time. You just worry that that promise walked off to QPR in the summer.

Your being disingenuous as you really  do dislike him. Thats your prerogative to be honest, and i couldn’t really care less, just have an issue that you ‘sussed’ him out.
As for him taking us forward, last season is last season. He has new signings that need to settle in, we probably need a couple more. Today was a car crash, but id prefer to see where we are in a few weeks before making judgement on the manager.

Have to say the more games i see under Gerrard the more i begin to doubt he is good enough to take us where we want to go.Today our dismal performance  was just the same as many in that dreadful end to last season we we could not win

Awful performance. Clueless. Nobody seems to know where they should be and what they should be doing.

Have we switched from zonal to man marking?

Looking at the second goal, I think we've turned our back on the concept of marking, full stop.

I don’t think it’s just me who has sussed him out.  Most of the opposition managers regularly do.  ScottP today managed to do it today with a squad that is generally regarded as the favourites to go down this season.

Just seen us on MOTD…I thought quite a few were saying we were shite today, from what I’ve seen, I think you were being very generous in just saying we were shite. We desperately need a real striker and for SG to pick players on merit. I feel there is more to the change in captains than we’ve been told and, McGinn for sure, is not the right replacement.

*Raises hand* I also sussed him out, and I know fuck all.
