Knew this would happen because I was almost certain we'd stroll it today 😔

some of you seem more keen for Gerrard to fail than for villa to succeed.

That’s nonsense. People want Villa to succeed and by extension the manager must have been successful. Nobody wants Gerrard to fail.

I blame Dave's uncharacteristically optimistic preview. :)

It's very difficult to understand what the plan is here.

If this weren't already painful enough to watch, the bloody camera might as well be in the dugout.

Tinpot stadium.

It's not a plan, it's a philosophy.

Ramsey’s shot epitomizes our entire first half

I know it’s not especially relevant to the football but although their ground does look like something non-league, I do love proper corner floodlights. That’s been all I can say I’ve enjoyed of the game so far.

What the fuck was that Ramsey?!

Martinez has to play.  He is our best forward player and the only one who seems to be able to break extremely limited teams like this down.  Bailey seems to have turned back into last seasons vintage.

A depressing first half that looks a lot last the last 10 games from last season.
