We surprise all and sundry and finish 6th playing some attractive attacking football - taking Wet Spams position in the mix.

Leon Bailey comes alive and we start getting requests for Kamara once the scum 6 realise they missed a superstar.

League cup  - lots of changes to team meaning we go out pretty soon

FA cup - we take more serious - we do not get Mancunts United at any point, especially 3rd round but go out unluckily at semi stage

Spurs (little bit of sick in my mouth) run city closest to title but city pip them

Liverpool finish outside top 4

Mancunts United change Manager when they realise yet another Emperors new clothes appointment fails to live up to the manufactured hype by the media.

Arsenal finish 3rd

Everton continue to struggle and part with Lampard mid season

Bournemouth, Brentford and Leeds to go down

The morons down the road have a small glimmer of hope before it all comes crashing into reality and the turds finally get flushed to League 1

After their current pre season, where yesterday Lampard has lambasted the squads attitude he might struggle to get to Sept / October

Villa will beat Manchester United in the league at Villa Park.

Let's have a look at Legion's lottery ticket again.

Legion you in the draw for the big Euromilions tomorrow then?

We learn to keep the ball and look like a team that trains together.
Emery has us doing that so yes great prediction!

Gerrard gone by Christmas

That's not unlikely as such - big window from world cup up to Boxing day.
Great Call.

Villa don’t draw Man Utd in round 3 of the FA cup

wrong cup... not that the 3rd round of the FA cup went much better than normal

Anyway, I'll go with: we don't lose at Brentford.

Fulham survive comfortably, Newcastle challenge for Europe, nobody competing with Small Heath to avoid the drop gets a points deduction. And, fuck it, Villa win a trophy.
Brilliant shouts.

We will be at home to a league one team in the fa cup 3rd round.

Even better, it was a League 2 club. Oh!

In February 23 I'm making these forecasts.

1. Beat Man City away 12th February
2. Beat Brighton final day of the season.
3. We will finish 7
4. Leon Bailey will be top scorer
5. Douglas Luiz will be top assist maker

There are a fair few predictions on here that are neither unlikely or off the wall. I think in part it's due to the fact that no one wants to go really off the wall in case it comes back to haunt them.  On that basis I think there should be an agreement that anything in this thread stays in this thread.

For predictions:
Leicester will struggle and be firmly in the bottom half, maybe even in the relegation battle.
Liverpool will fall back a bit but still make the top 4.
Nunez will struggle to settle in and look out of place until at least after the world cup.
Chuk will sign a new contract with us in a few weeks and will be a regular off the bench over the season.
Kamara will be considered our best player by the end of the season and we'll have a summer of him being linked with moves for big money next year.
We'll be in the mix for Europe, mostly because of a good run of results iearly on gets disrupted by the world cup and we never quite get back to the same level.
Great foresight on Leicester in particular
