Unlikely or off the wall predictions for next season
« on: July 16, 2022, 12:45:09 PM »
Freddie Guilbert will impress SG now he’s watching him up close and play his way into the 1st team squad for next season

England will struggle in the World Cup and Gerrard will be installed as favourite to take the managers job in the new year

Carney will sign a new contract with Villa at the end of next season

Villa will win the FA Cup.

Sorry, I suppose replies were supposed to be at least remotely plausible.

Richard E has beaten me to it. I also believe Villa will win the FA Cup. But then I also believe that if I watch Day of the Jackal enough times De Gaulle will get shot.

Anyway, I'll go with: we don't lose at Brentford.

Fulham survive comfortably, Newcastle challenge for Europe, nobody competing with Small Heath to avoid the drop gets a points deduction. And, fuck it, Villa win a trophy.
