Leeds fans to realise that they’re not the innocent victims, it’s their team who are thugs, and that when you get that reputation and you wind the opposition up you are going to get some back too.

Sky will go longer than 7 days, without showing a live Man Utd match.

And Watkins will take on his crown as chief scapegoat for the season….just think of the career Andy Cole wouldn’t have had if social media wierdos had been around in the 90’s

Andy Cole who was a great finisher who scored loads of goals? How is he compaarable to Watkins?

It's easily comparable. Compared to Andy Cole, Watkins isn't a very good finisher, and has the first touch of Joe Bugner.

I think the suggestion is based on the fact that Cole, after being absolutely lethal at Newcastle did miss a lot of chances at Man Utd comparatively, that was what most were saying at the time. He was a considerably better finisher than Watkins though, who's best strength is his hard work and team play.

Anyway, unlikely, Villa to have 3 players in the England W/C squad; off the wall, Villa get going again straight after the WC.

93 league goals in 191 appearances for Man U though, I'd take that all day long!

Absolutely. It's what we need now, although i know i'm being greedy by saying we need someone with that goal average and the ability to hold up play and bring others into the game as well!

To right
and if we can find someone like Dwight Yorke to go alongside him even better

55 in 70 for Newcastle. Shit me! How much would he be worth now?

I think i read a story that we tried to get him from Bristol before Newcastle did, but something went tits up, possibly being Dougs fault or maybe even Big Ron's fault but can't remember exactly.

Some of those 55 would have been at what is now Championship level but impressive nevertheless.

Didn't we claim we tried to sign him from Newcastle, same as we claimed we wanted Van Nistelrooy before Man U did? Almost like Doug was full of absolute shit.
