I don’t mind it. Especially the options presented in other colours and styles. I’m interested to see how or where this one ends up if it’s used.

Some are so easily insulted, and that's fine. Some are obsessed about something that really isn't that important, and that's fine too.

We can debate whether it ‘really isn’t that important’ or not, but you’d have to continue to participate in this thread, which you may find under stimulating. I happen to think that it is important. I’m interested in Aston Villa as a cultural phenomenon - it’s part of the reason that I follow the club. The mosaic crest on the old Trinity Road stand gable was integral to the club’s identity for more than 70-years. I can’t see the new one lasting for any length of time, except through bloody mindedness.

Identity is probably one of if not the most important thing when it comes to football clubs

I'm with FatSam, I think it's important. I'm not happy with the end result or the process they ued to get there.

The second sentence is the main one for me as it opens the door to it happening on the other important things.

Whatever about the new badge.
This is horrendous WTF is a EuroVilla?

I'd get one of those, but then I'd have to move the "Live, Love, Laugh" ones to another wall.

So you don't mind it because it looks good in colours that aren't Blue, Yellow and Claret, surely a crest that isn't in our colours isn't a Villa Crest

May as well have just kept the Lerner AVFC one if the monochrome versions are all we need.

That line of merch would look a lot better if they just had 'Villa' on them, "EuroVilla" looks daft imo.

I like it because I think it looks good and hints at a kit where it fits well. That's all. You don't need to agree.

1874 being the same colour as the text makes a big difference with the gold and black version.
