Our new font is called Medula One if anyone else fancies hours of fun.

I've got Fleetwood Mac's 'The Chain' playing in my head now.

Just realised that we used the gold lion on blue background historically on the ground....

It was all over the old Trinity, i've always liked these pics taken by a Chelsea fan before the infamous 1991 game

That really was a lovely stand. Such a shame Doug didn't embrace the history and create a modern version of that. Certainly on the exterior.

I was talking to a Burnley fan the other day about the future of the ground. He said he bet we couldn't do anything because it will be listed... he was surprised to hear that everything left is from the 90s.

But then looking at those pictures, even what we have now and people love so much pales in comparison to that.

If you look at the ground then, the badge has a gold lion in a blue background, but that wasn't the badge on the kit when we first applied them:

No reason we couldn't do the same now.

Anyway, here's all the shields from past to present for comparison:

The stripe crest lion is the best of the lot, gold rather than yellow.
Would look much better on our new crest, although I’d prefer claret

Problem is gold on screen doesn't really work and will look yellow or green.

On what kind of screen? If I look at the colour gold on my mobile, tablet, laptop, PC monitor or television, I can honestly say that gold has never looked yellow or green.

Thr Old Trinity was pokey and small. It looked ridiculous next to the Holte. It had pillars. We could have replicated the windows etc at the back, but as somebody who had their first season ticket in the upper and somebody who appreciates stadia as imperialist statements, I just think nah.

It was. I meant if you are going to knock it down to make it bigger then you can still do that while maintaining a design element that makes it look unique or appreciates the past. It was beautiful from the outside.
