The 90s one looked good with Prepared on the scroll underneath. Getting rid of that scroll was a mistake. I see Liverpool and Everton still have a scroll. Prepared got lost when it was pushed into the 00s shield, and again in the Lerner shield.

Subjective maybe, but I mean...I think considering the FA Cup bigger is a radically niche view!

No matter how much the commentary changes, you can’t change the fact that it’s the only trophy where you can have a big day out, & a definite proper presentation (i.e. the trophy is definitely there) & pretty much all of your regular supporters will be there to see it!

Surely that's the League Cup?

Luckily we’re in the Birmingham Senior Cup Final!

Or any cup final.

Clubs  get a lot more tickets for the League Cup than the FA Cup don't they? About 10k more I think. Which makes getting one far easier.

love that...…surely its about making us identifiable, even when our name isn't visible ?
Isn't that what great branding is all about ?

Looks like it must be a yellow lion then and not the gold version.

If we're keeping the yellow on blue, I honestly prefer the Lerner badge.

Does anyone else see 'startled Hitler' in that badge?

Startled Hitler with a lazy eye, yes.

Indeed. When they announced two years ago we were going to get a new badge I never would have guessed we would end up here or that when heck was appointed we would see the club go absolutely 'all in' on him to the extent we have.

Anyway, what we think doesn't come remotely into their thinking. That's obvious.
