Very good team performance, apart from the poor 'keeper who had virtually nothing to do on a cold night. It really was very one-sided. I suspect Southampton will be a much stiffer test in the fourth round.

I wonder if Brentford's poor performance is to do with the fact that they've only recently started their own academy?

The manager who signed him for Crawley - John Betsy - was sacked on October 9th after 12 games in charge.

They then had an interim manager - Lewis Young, before appointing Simon Etherington as manager on Nov 27th.

32 days later they've sacked Etherington .... after 3 games in charge. A win and 2 defeats.

We've recalled 3 players from their loans, in all cases the managers/coaches who took them on loan have been dismissed and Ramsey's recovering from a injury.

Hayden Lindley (Newport County) 5 appearances
Viljami Sinisalo (Burton Albion) - 8 appearances
Aaron Ramsey (Norwich) - 20 appearances

Pretty sure Villa will look to loan them out again for the rest of the season.
