Isn't he already on-loan at Forest?

Not going to happen. It's widely rumoured he has intramuscular edema which is extremely difficult to treat and can kick in again at any time. In the deal with Forest, Juve supposedly wrote in a minute managing clause that will cost Forest a shed load if they go over. It's one of the reasons he hasn't played for them as much they'd like. By all accounts they love him there.

Let's get the gang back together. What's Uncle Albert up to these days?

Poor Doug... was that reflected in his price when we sold him to Juve or was it only discovered afterwards?

But isn’t it a loan to buy deal? Why would juve care if they’re selling him anyway.

Isn’t he normally scoring for someone against the Blues!

Genuinely not sure tbf. I just remember it being quite a big talking point on one of the Forest fan collective video thingys after their game against us.

'A season-long loan, with a conditional obligation to become a permanent deal next summer' according to the Notts Forest official site.

See, I read that the obligation to buy is activated if he makes 15 appearances of at least 45 minutes each. I assumed his lack of starts was due to injury and Forest not being entirely sure if they want to keep him.

If Forest aren’t sure, we could ask to step in on the same/similar terms.

I agree loan with obligation to buy would work - e30m - is less than we sold him for.

We know he gets us, and we can get a tune out of him.  He knows what Unai expects - and works well with most of the squad.

I would have him over Gallagher every day of the week and twice on Sundays - which is when we tend to play.

Luiz was an outstanding player for us. I wanted him to return big time last summer. But he definitely isn't a replacement for Kamara. He tried to be for a while and it didn't work. That's when he was fully fit.

After the stunt we pulled with Liverpool on Elliot and in general how tight the table is, I'm not sure other PL clubs are going to be selling players to us this January. No obvious midfielders on the list of players out of contract in the summer. Lots of interest in Joao Gomes at Wolves, good player.
